HI THERE! I’M ASHLEY. I was born and raised in Texas and live in Austin. While attending college at The University of Texas, I found my two loves: my husband Micah and sharing God’s love with people (well, three if you count Longhorn football, but I know that can be a touchy subject for some). Micah and I were married in 2006, waited a decade to have kids, and now we have Nora and Knox.
I worked for Young Life for the last 16 years and most of that time was spent leading the college ministry at UT. I book-ended those years with high school ministry at the beginning and then leadership development for women staff at the end. I’m currently on a writing sabbatical where I’m creating a bible study on the book of John – a longtime dream of mine. I am passionate about empowering and encouraging people with the word of God and (when I’m not on sabbatical) I do this mostly through writing, speaking, and mentoring women. This all takes a backseat to my two most important little disciples who are not impressed with me at all and like to yell at me for snacks.
